What is a Nurse Practitioner?
A Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse (RN), also referred to as Advanced Practice Nurses (ANPs) has a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a board certification in their special field. They have education and training in specialty areas such as family practice, women’s health or pediatrics. Family Nurse Practitioners have acquired the necessary and expert knowledge, skills and training in caring for people of all ages.
